High School Essentials

“AI is very likely to overturn most of our apple carts.

Two pieces of general advice with AI in the world:
get better mentors and work every day
at improving the quality of your peer network."

TESTIMONIALS

I struggled with hearing my own voice as a young woman, but The Writing College helped me find it. Alex would often say things like: This is good but general, anyone could write this argument, especially AI! She helped me develop my distinct writing personality and identify who I am as a person. Now, what I say and write stands out in class and among my peers.”

- Kylie, HS Sophomore

The Writing College not only taught me how to write, it taught me how to think about who I am in the world. I learned to see people and situations around me using writing and editing as life skills. The 1-1 mentorship was a complete transformation in which I grew into a published writer who’s capable of conveying my message to my readers. I want to show my endless appreciation to Alex, who taught me to find my true, most confident self in language.

- Julie, HS Senior
